National Domestic Violence Summit 2006

Verizon Foundation joined with the Corporate Alliance to End Partner Violence, the Family Violence Prevention Fund and the National Domestic Violence hotline to launch the first, National Summit focused on domestic violence awareness and prevention.

The Summit brought together leaders from corporations and nonprofit organizations, in the latter part of 2006, to focus on three strategic areas:

  1. How to work together to raise awareness of the issue and its effects on families and the workplace.
  2. How to identify how to leverage technology to improve collaboration and program delivery.
  3. How to build processes and programs to build or expand effective programs nationwide.
