Verizon Volunteers T-Shirt Program

What is the free T-shirt program?
The Verizon Volunteers free T-shirt program provides eligible Verizon employees with the opportunity to get up to ten (10) free T-shirts for volunteer activities they support in their communities. A sample photo of the T-shirts can be found online.
Who is eligible to participate in the free T-shirt program?
All active employees on the Verizon payroll for 90 days or more, who work full-time, part-time, permanent, or temporary are eligible.
How many T-shirts can I request each year?
Eligible employees may request up to ten T-shirts each year.
Can the T-shirts be used to support any organization?
No. The T-shirts must be used to support a valid 501(c)(3) organization.
Can family and friends wear the T-shirts?
If your family or friends are a part of the community activity you support, then they are eligible to wear the T-shirts.
Should the T-shirts be returned after the event or activity?
No. the T-shirt should be kept by those who wore them during the event - as a goodwill token.
How long will it take for the order of T-shirts to be processed?
Employees should allow at least 15 business days for the T-shirts to be delivered to the designated destination.
Can I use my allotment of the T-shirts to support more than one nonprofit organization?
Yes. You may use your allotment of ten T-shirts to support multiple nonprofit organizations. Once you have used up your allotment, you will not be able to order anymore T-shirts for the rest of the year.
If I use less than ten T-shirts in a given year, can I carry over the balance to the following year?
No. You may not carry over any T-shirts to the following year. Eligible employees are allowed to order a maximum of ten T-shirts each year.
Will every employee request for these T-shirts be fulfilled?
There is a limited number of T-shirts available; as a result, requests will be filled in the order in which they are received. An employee's request may be denied if the requested sizes are not available.
